Nuoro

Automating a mobile water treatment plant for Nuoro

Nuoro develops engineering solutions for complex water challenges. For this project, the team is designing and building a mobile, containerised plant to treat process water. OTmatic is developing the automation and control layer for the plant. The project is currently in execution.

Inopsys

A mobile treatment plant automated in 8 weeks, with control logic built for reuse

Inopsys builds mobile installations that treat industrial wastewater directly on its customers’ sites. For this project, Inopsys developed a containerised, multi-stage metal removal plant for a major company in the petrochemical industry. The unit treats wastewater through filtration, three ion-exchange trains and an activated carbon step. Filtration, backwash cycles, chemical dosing and pressure control run automatically. The operator manages the column rotation and chemicals, and releases each batch once the laboratory results have been approved. OTmatic was responsible for the control software, the Factory Acceptance Test and the start-up of the installation.

For Rom Koffie, OTmatic replaced their obsolete, unsupported PLCs with a modern automated control architecture and MES system, enabling remote production tracking and powerful analysis tools for continuous roasting optimisation.
