The program was configured within the OTmatic platform : Process control, IO-linking and the alarm management. 100% of the PLC code was directly generated and deployed from the platform. The project highlights the efficiency of a software-defined automation approach. It ensured a high level of consistency and significantly reduced the engineering time, allowing for a seamless transition from design to functional logic.

The hardware and software stack consists of a Wago PLC for field control and Ignition SCADA for the operator interface and data handling. The server infrastructure is hosted on a Proxmox virtual environment. Following the software deployment, OTmatic also realized the commissioning of the container.
